Typical carvan insurance cover provides the owner with many benefits. These benefits of course depend on whether you take out static or touring caravan insurance.
Benefits specific for touring caravan insurance
If you have a touring caravan, you are able to choose to travel wherever you wish. You may wish to stop in the UK, as there are many beautiful areas to visit. However if you want to travel into Europe then European insurance is needed. If you go into Europe without cover then you typically have to stop at the border of each country you visit to arrange insurance.
Usually European carvan insurance includes money towards a stay in alternative accommodation in the event that your touring caravan is damaged and has to be taken for repairs.
